Tell us what you think of our Sensory Garden

At Stroud Valleys Project, we’re immensely proud of the work we’ve done at Stratford Park’s Sensory Garden. On a piece of land that was previously the leisure centre’s putting green, project officers Tamsin Bent and Richard Lewis, with help from various contractors and a whole slew of wonderful volunteers, have designed a garden providing a multi-sensory experience with an array of sounds, sights and textures, including an arch, a labyrinth and a wheelchair-friendly garden zone.

And this year we’ve had new gardens joining those developed by Emerging Futures, Stroud and Cotswolds Alternative Provision School, BarBar’s Nursery, Stroud Third Brownies, and Sunflower Suicide Support.

So if you haven’t yet visited the Sensory Garden, why not do so? You can also visit our Wild Play area at the same time – it’s near the main playground at the back of the large playing field.
